This latest instalment of The Suit of the Week is Max’s choice again and, in my very humble opinion, he has absolutely nailed it!
You will recall Max’s Shirt of the Week a few days ago was the gorgeous yellow, fuchsia and blue check from Thomas Mason’s Zephir line. This shirt matches exquisitely with Max’s choice of a mid-grey 470g cloth from Hardy Minnis’s Fresco III bunch.
This fabric is quite sturdy — I would describe it as virtually bulletproof — yet it is woven in a way that makes it quite breathable.
And, as with all of our Suits of the Week, this cloth will work really well in either the classic Mogg double-breasted style, but will also look equally as elegant in either a one- or three-button single-breasted configuration.
As we Mogg Towers geeks have often said in discussions amongst the group, think of the suit as the frame for the work of art that is the checked shirt we’ve paired the suit with. The two will complement each other perfectly. You’ll love this look! BTWB/MM/YS
